BVSc (Hons), Member of the Australian Veterinary Association

"Caring for animals — and the people who love them — has always been my calling."

I've been a veterinarian for over fifteen years, working across small animal practice, emergency care, and palliative medicine. Throughout my career, the moments that have stayed with me most are the quiet ones — sitting with a family as they say goodbye to a beloved companion, and knowing that the care I provided made that moment as peaceful as it could be.

I founded Resting Paws because I believe every animal deserves a gentle, dignified farewell — and every family deserves the time and space to grieve without the stress of a clinical environment. Coming to your home means your pet can rest in the place they feel safest, surrounded by the people and smells they love most.

I grew up in regional Victoria with a house full of animals, and that upbringing shaped everything about how I practise. I understand the bond you have with your pet. I understand that this is one of the hardest decisions you'll ever make. And I'm here to walk alongside you — without rush, without judgment, and with complete compassion.
